I recently joined PadSplit to help activate more affordable housing options, and I'm a big proponent of finding the fastest solutions to the biggest problems we face.
Given how much of our society is driven by financial outcomes, I'm focused on finding ways to align those financial outcomes with positive change, such as creating more affordable housing, reducing our carbon footprint, and enriching community-led initiatives. I have a strong conviction that those who benefit from a community should give back or, at a minimum, not be extractive.

Beyond real estate, Clara is an active leader in the Boston startup community, serving on the board of Breakthrough Greater Boston and as a member of First Group Latinos for Education.

Sergii Starostin is the Co-Founder and CEO of Outpost, one of the largest and fastest-growing co-living platforms in the United States. Fernando's bio Six years ago, I left a comfortable six-figure job to build a life where I controlled my time, income, and impact. Since then, I’ve started five businesses that failed—and two that have helped real estate investors close over 160 loans across the country.
Today, I run Remote Lender, a mortgage brokerage built exclusively for real estate investors. We specialize in DSCR loans and creative traditional financing for PadSplit, Coliving, BRRRRs, BRRCRRs, short-term rentals, and long-term holds. In 2024, we helped investors close over 130 loans because of our transparency and strategic lender matching.

Sam is The Legislative Counsel at the Institute for Justice, where he fights for The Co-Living Movement by working to to protect property rights and expand housing freedom through smart legislative reform.
He authored IJ’s groundbreaking Restoring Options in Occupancy Models (ROOM) Act — the first-in-nation model legislation that re-legalizes co-living and single-room occupancy (SRO) housing. By cutting through outdated zoning bans, restrictive building codes, and arbitrary occupancy limits, the ROOM Act restores real choice for property owners, developers, and residents who want safe, affordable, market-driven housing options — without subsidies or government mandates.
Before joining IJ, Sam served as legislative counsel at the Texas Legislative Council, drafting bills on property law, economic policy, and occupational regulation. He previously held a legal fellowship with the U.S. House Judiciary Subcommittee on Antitrust and Administrative Law.

The schedule features keynotes, panels, breakout sessions, networking receptions, and optional activities like morning hikes. Sessions run from morning to evening, with breaks for coffee and meals.
